Quentin Beck, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Far From Home, is presented as Mysterio, a hero from another dimension.

Beck claims to originate from Earth-833, a dimension destroyed by the Elementals. He teams up with Spider-Man to combat these threats, earning the world's trust.

However, the narrative is a complete fabrication. Beck is actually a disgruntled former Stark Industries holographic illusions specialist. He orchestrates the Elemental attacks using drones and advanced projection technology, crafting a heroic persona for himself.

Mysterio's goal is to replace Iron Man as the world's greatest hero, fueled by resentment towards Tony Stark and exploiting the vulnerability left in the wake of his death. His first and only appearance is in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).
